Santana Row time-lapse

Santana Row time-lapse

This time-lapse was shot over 21 days at Santana Row, San Jose, CA – ConXtech’s first project in 2004.

The camera was originally set up to take a photo every 5 minutes, 24 hrs a day. After two days, we realized that 4 beams could be ‘lowered and locked’ into place – in less than 5 minutes, and the “video” we were creating was going to look clunky, with bays of structure just showing up in-between 5 minute snapshots. We quickly re-programmed the camera to take a photo every two minutes during daylight hours. The quality is not great, but you can get a glimpse of the very first ConX project which is now part of a bustling and vibrant community.
