Robert J. (Bob) Simmons
CEO, CTO, Chairman of the Board & Co-Founder

In addition to serving as the CEO, Mr. Simmons is the company's Chief Technology Officer responsible for ConXtech's product development strategy and R&D. Self employed since the age of 17, Mr. Simmons has spent a majority of his career in the structural concrete industry, focused primarily on design-build parking structures, mixed-use and mid-to high-rise residential markets. His structural concrete company, RJS & Associates (RJS), grew to employ over 400 full-time employees. Under Mr. Simmons' leadership, RJS has earned a stellar reputation in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as outlying areas working with most of the major national and regional developers operating in the Bay Area high-density residential market. A successful serial entrepreneur, he conceived the ConXtech system in 2000, after working for nearly a decade to develop alternative structural solutions for the mid-rise market which RJS serves. In 2004, he led the spin out of ConXtech from RJS & Associates.

Jason Berry
VP Global Supply Chain & General Manager Hayward Fabrication

Mr. Berry oversees ConXtech’s manufacturing, supply chain and detailing operations and brings a wealth of experience to the company.  Prior to joining ConXtech, he gained substantial knowledge in supply chain development, manufacturing, re-structuring, and sourcing while managing firms in the United States and abroad.  Most recently Mr. Berry ran a medium sized material supply company and worked in Ukraine to modernize a Soviet-era steel mill. Additionally, over a three year span, he worked for the Government of Japan and for a consulting firm retained by the US military to establish a satellite communications facility in Southern Japan.  Altogether he has work experience in 10 countries and he has traveled to over 90. Jason is proficient in Russian, Ukrainian, Spanish and Japanese and has a working knowledge of Polish, Chinese, and Portuguese.  He holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, an MA in International Relations from the same University and a BS from California Polytechnic University.

Eric Horn
President, ConXtech Construction

Mr. Horn oversees ConXtech’s field construction entity, ConXtech Construction Inc., and manages the team responsible for estimating, pre-construction, modeling, integration, and field operations. He has been respected member of the Bay Area Building community for over twenty years and spent his entire career at San Francisco based Webcor Builders Inc., where he last served as Senior Vice President responsible for Northern California and San Diego operations. At Webcor, Mr. Horn guided the company through it’s most profitable years and led that company’s drive and focus on several key operational areas; most notably, Preconstruction Services, Safety, In-Place Quality; Design-Build, CAD Project Schedule, Jobsite Business Plans all which contributed to increased overall profitability. Along with his Senior Vice President operational responsibilities, he served as Project Executive to personally assure the success of several watershed Webcor projects including: Letterman Digital Arts Campus (Presidio), Oracle Campus in Redwood City; Foundry Square project in San Francisco, Radisson Hotel in South San Francisco, Broadway 655 in San Diego, Seahaus Condominiums in La Jolla, CA.  He is a member of United States Green Building Council (USGBC); Center for the Built Environment (CBE) UC Berkeley; Center for Integrated Facilities Engineering (CIFE) Stanford University; Cal Poly Construction Management Advisory board. Mr. Horn holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in which he earned in 1987.

Raymond G. Kitasoe
Vice President, Engineering

Mr. Kitasoe oversees the on-going refinement, testing and municipal and regulatory approval processes for ConXtech's system. Mr. Kitasoe has 25 years of construction management experience with emphasis in the commercial and multi-family residential segments. During this time, Mr. Kitasoe has participated in all aspects of the construction business including; project management, financial management and design. Specifically, Mr. Kitasoe has served as a Project Manager for Herrero Contractors, DBD Structures, D. Ross Construction, Super Structures and The Plymouth Group. His experience also includes working for Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) for six years and for H.J. Degenkolb Associates for four years. At AMD he served as Division Controller for the company's most profitable division. At H.J. Degenkolb Associates he was involved in the structural design and analysis of new and existing structures. Mr. Kitasoe earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering with honors, an M.S. in Structural Engineering and Structural Mechanics and an M.B.A. with a focus on finance from the University of California, Berkeley.

James (Jim) Kohnke
Vice President Corporate Services

Mr. Kohnke joined ConXtech in 2007 to identify, define and implement the operational, financial and information systems which will enable ConXtech’s aggressive growth strategy, and is chartered with building the foundational business systems instrumental in successfully scaling ConXtech on a global basis. He brings 20 years experience working in a variety of senior finance and operational roles moving companies to their next level of development. His experience ranges from small, privately held businesses to the Fortune 500 and includes both manufacturing and service sectors. Most recently, Mr. Kohnke held the positions of National Finance Leader and National Builder Operations Leader at Owens Corning (OC), a six billion dollar global company. During Jim’s tenure, the division grew revenue eight fold and expanded from eight locations to twenty-four in four years. While at Owens Corning, he architected the integration of the division's financial operations with the corporate ERP platform (SAP) - and successfully integrated finance operations of multiple business units. Prior to Owens Corning, Mr. Kohnke worked in management consulting dealing in business strategy & planning, productivity and profit improvements, information systems design, and M&A. He assisted dozens of companies in adopting revenue management techniques that drove sustainable increases in EBITDA, resulting in an increase of enterprise value upon sale. He served as a course instructor in Financial Management at the National Association of Printing Leadership's Management Institute and the Printing Industries of America’s Executive Development Program (EDP). Mr. Kohnke holds a Bachelors degree from The University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business with a dual emphasis in finance and marketing.


Michel (Kelly) Luttrell
Vice President, Business Development, Co-Founder

Ms. Luttrell, who co-founded ConXtech with Mr. Simmons, manages the Company’s business development, marketing, partnership and intellectual property activities. Before joining ConXtech, Ms. Luttrell served as Vice President of Security Technology and Solution Sales at Wave Systems Corporation. During her five-year tenure at Wave Systems she was responsible for sales and licensing of security software products to large corporations in the personal computer industry. Prior to Wave Systems, Ms. Luttrell worked for Silicon Graphics Computer Systems for nine years in various marketing and sales roles. During this time, she served as the Strategic Account Manager for Silicon Graphic’s single largest customer. In the first three years in this role, Ms. Luttrell grew the account fourfold to over $60 million in annual revenues. Prior to Silicon Graphics, Ms. Luttrell was a Marketing Representative focused on the Manufacturing sector at IBM Corporation’s National Accounts Division. Ms. Luttrell obtained her B.S. in Environmental Design at the University of California, Davis.


Travis (TJ) Simmons
Vice President, ConXtech Construction

Mr. Simmons manages day-to-day field operations of ConXtech Construction. He and his team also interface with development and architectural teams to ensure a seamless flow from building concept to manufacturing through field assembly. Mr. Simmons has significant experience in construction project layout, operating sophisticated manufacturing equipment and manufacturing equipment specifications. Over the past decade years, Mr. Simmons has contributed this expertise to the construction of millions of square feet of residential and mixed-use, office and other structures valued at more than $180 million. Mr. Simmons was instrumental in the initial development of the ConXtech system. As a part of that effort, he produced the first CAD/CAM versions, built the prototype ConXtech system components and tooling fixtures, managed outsourcing of the ConXtech prototype and assembly, managed the design, fabrication and installation of the "test frame" and supervised ConXtech system testing. Mr. Simmons is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction.
