This 9 Story 202,000 Sq. Ft. ConX structure sits atop a 3 story concrete podium. Common areas include a 20-foot high entry lobby, community room, courtyards and rooftop garden. Street level retail areas complete this innovative building located in historic Chinatown in downtown Oakland, CA.
PROJECT CHALLENGES / SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS
This project was complicated by the need to maintain the configuration of the existing freeway off-ramp and surrounding streets, requiring a curved building front. Urban site logistics.
