Innovation, Improvement & Integration
The primary meeting of the year – the 13th Annual Lean Construction Institute Congress, takes place October 4-7, 2011 in Pasadena, California. The LCI Congress features national and international owners, designers, contractors, and suppliers describing what they have experienced and learned adopting Lean Construction.

ConXtech’s CEO Bob Simmons discusses the topic of Chassis Based Modular Construction and how to leverage technology to build more for less together with Bob Hazelton from Herrick Steel and Saul Hernandez from Aera Energy. They present two case studies:

  • A CoreSite data center project where Herrick and ConXtech proved that multiple fabricators can deliver to manufacturing tolerances on structural assemblies
  • An Aera softwater plant project where innovation beyond the structure brought significant time and monetary savings to the owner
